So, Crazy Cake Lady came out of hiding today and as we expected, she was preparing for something really spectacular. This thing wasn't just an ordinary desert. It was like the freaking Easter bunny's wedding cake:

(Vanilla sponge cake w/ thin raspberry filling and white chocolate ganache layers)
Cake Lady used all the tips she received in the past 2 months; a total of about $4.34 to make this four-tired masterpiece. Her husband had to carry this 20 lbs cake into the office this morning, as a group of about 12 of us watched him carefully, hoping he wouldn't drop it. But he didn't, and it arrived safely in the lunchroom, and stayed there for about 40 mins. until everyone devoured it. Now, we feel bad for giving CCL a hard time for being MIA this weekend. Maybe we should write her a thank-you card, or give her a 50 cent tip...
